My name is CMA Bharat Kumar Swami

IF income tax return is filed delayed(After due date), then assesse need to pay Late fee and then file his/her income tax return for the relevanct A.Y..

If an assess fail to pay late fee or taxes and he filed his Income Tax Return, he will able to submit his inocme tax return but within a peroid of 30 days , he will get a demand notice for amount of taxes or amount of late fee due and not paid, stating the time period to pay such taxes or late fee.
